Republic Day Celebrations at SNIMS
Sree Narayana Institute of Medical Sciences (SNIMS) celebrated the 77th Republic Day on 26 January 2026 with a solemn flag-hoisting ceremony held in front of the Administrative Block near the Dr. Palpu Statue.
The National Flag was hoisted by Ms. Manasa, University Topper – First Year MBBS Examination (August 2025), marking a proud moment for the institution. The ceremony was held in the esteemed presence of Prof. Dr. Indira Kumari K. R., Principal, Mr. Christus K. N., Deputy Manager – Operations, along with faculty members and students.
The celebration reflected SNIMS’ commitment to national values, academic excellence, and the spirit of unity and service to the nation. -
Honoring University Toppers
The University toppers over the years of Sree Narayana Institute of Medical Sciences (SNIMS) were honored at a memorable function held at the SNIMS College auditorium on 27th September, 2024. This year, Amritakrishna J. secured the first rank in the MBBS examination conducted by Kerala University of Health Sciences. Previous years rank holders, Dr. Srividya Suresh, Dr. Ashima R. Chandran, and Dr. Reni Benny were also honored. -
University First Rank – Final Year MBBS
Ms. Amrithakrishna J, 2019 batch MBBS student has secured University First Rank for the Final Year MBBS Examination - March 2024 conducted by Kerala University of Health Sciences Thrissur. -
2nd Rank in DMLT Examination
Ms. Unnimaya Ramakrishnan (DMLT 2019 Batch) secured 2nd Rank in Examination Conducted by Directorate of Medical Education, Government of Kerala in April 2022. -
Dr. Ramachandran Memorial Gold Medal Distinction
Miss. Amritakrishna J. 2019 batch student has won the first prize of Dr. Ramachandran Memorial Gold Medal Examination. It is the award to the candidates who shows highest competency in Pathology and obtains the distinction in the subject. -
International Nurses Day Celebrations
International Nurses Day was celebrated on 12/5/22. Principal, Medical Superintendant, Nursing Superintendant and other dignitaries spoke and thanked nurses for their devotion to duty, display of professionalism and for providing excellent patient care. Function concluded with an entertainment program showcased by talented nurses and students of SNIMS. -

Interdepartmental Academic Activity
On 26th April - Departments of Orthopedics, Radiology and Pathology held an interdepartmental academic activity as a part of training Postgraduate students in Orthopedics. Dr. Meenakshi, First year PG from Orthopedics presented a case of Extraskeletal Chondroma. Dr. Sheeba Senior Resident from Radiology discussed radiological findings and Dr. Annu Elizabeth Prakash, Associate Prof, Pathology presented histopathological features that culminated in the final diagnosis. -

IMA Paravur, Departments of ObG and Pathology organised a cervical screening camp on 22/3/22.

Preclinical departments collectively provide a firm foundation for students to understand the Anatomical,Physiologic and Biochemical aspects of a normal individual.
